Martyrs Memorial Public Health Co-operative society Limited (M-Co) was established in 2006 with a vision to provide quality health care services at affordable price to the needy people. The Co-operative society successfully established a 100 bedded Sahid Memorial Hospital at Kalanki Chowk with important facilities such as 24 hours Emergency services, Outdoor and Indoor services, Pathology, X-Rays, Orthopedics, Gynecology, USG, ECHO, ECG and so on. The Hospital situated at the gate way of Kathmandu Valley is providing quality health care services and regularly being upgraded with sophisticated Operation Theaters and Intensive Care Facilities at present.
Successful operation of the hospital has encouraged the organization to extend its activities in the Academic line. In order to prepare and fulfill the demand of qualified paramedic health professionals, it has launched academic course affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) under its sister organization: Martyrs Memorial Institution of Science and Technology (MMIST) since 2008.
Martyrs Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (MMIST) is a technical college established by Martyrs Memorial Public Health Co-operative Society Limited and managed by group of professionals from different walks of life. The team of professionals involved in the Management includes Doctors, Nurses, Academicians, Administrative Professionals and Businessmen and Social Workers who strongly believe that Technical Education has the power to build the “New Nepal”
