MMIST was established in 2065 BS with 7 Students but today it has grown to its full capacity and providing full scholarships to the deserving students in Nursing, General Medicine,Lab Technician, Lab Assistant and Radiography. MMIST is centrally located at Kalopul, Siphal just 5 minutes walk from our famous Hindu Temple, Pashupati Nath at Gausala. The campus has appealing college buildings. The classroom interiors are of International standard, equipped with multimedia and audio visual teaching aids. A high tech computer lab with WiFi and internet facility serve the students in providing additional teaching aid library. Dedicated and highly qualified faculty members unfold the knowledge to each student. Students are taken to the best of the hospitals and fields for their on the job training (OJT). The college also has a good cafeteria providing warm and varieties of healthy food. College also provides sufficient extra curricular and co-curricular activities for physical development of the students. Our philosophy is to provide a world class paramedical college environment for students by providing opportunities to grow and develop and seek jobs internationally. Successful operation of the Hospital under the Sahid Smarak Janaswasthya Sahakari Sanstha has encouraged the organization to extend its activities in the Academic line. In order to prepare and fulfill the demand of qualified paramedic health professionals, it has started academic courses affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) under its sister organization: Sahid Smarak Janaswasthya College (MMIST) by a group of Sahid Smarak Janaswasthya College (MMIST).

It is a technical college established by Martyrs Memorial Public Health Co-operative Society Limited and managed professionals from different walks of life. The team of professionals involved in the Management includes Doctors,Nurses,Administrative Professionals and Businessmen and Social Academicians, Workers who strongly believe that Technical Education has the power to build “New Nepal”.
